Another case of crazy in the “Gun Death?” annals.
Ryan Devaney slashed Margaret, stabbing her in the eye and stomach, and Raymond Devaney, cutting his throat, at 21 Howard Place around 8 a.m., police sources said…Margaret Devaney died from her wounds and Raymond Devaney was taken to New York Methodist Hospital, where he’s in critical condition.

The crime scene today at 21 Howard Place.After fleeing the scene, Ryan Devaney ran into the nearby subway station. Covered in blood, he saw a neighbor and said, “I did something bad.” Ryan then leaped in front of a north-bound G train in a bid to kill himself, sources said. He was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he’s in serious but stable condition, police sources said.
Wow, so Mom’s Dead, Dad’s doing very poorly, and he unsuccessfully attempted to kill himself.
Of course Murder, attempted murder, and suicide are all violent acts that can be accomplished with a gun….but not in this case, in this case it was a knife and a subway train.
This is the paradise that the gun-control freaks have laid out for us. Isn’t it grand?
Of Course New York City tightly controls guns, and they still have plenty of shootings too, so gun control is really fantastic like that!

You would think that if gun control worked, you’d see it in places like New York, Chicago, or DC.
Just to follow up, did you get the “gun death?” I emailed you the other day? I had a couple of links in it, so I’m worried it got caught in your spam filter. Let me know if you need it again.
Oh yeah, not only is there no evidence of gun control actually working in any places or any iterations implemented, most of those places are some of the worst hellholes in this country.
Kinda Ironic when the people who drop the whole “Gun Death” metric will often compare places like England and the US…but the majority of “Gun Death” in America comes from places like LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, DC, all of which push “Common Sense Gun Control”. Given that the violent crime rate in DC has actually been dropping in the years since Heller, I’d imagine if we stopped all this “Common Sense” maybe our “Gun Death” might look a little better. It would also come with lower overall violent crime rates, and more human freedoms!
