“Gun Death” Insane Woman

Stories like this, when I read them for the “Gun Death?” tag enrage and horrify me. So I blame Blackhawk101 for this startling view of the underbelly of the world…

Korena Roberts, 27, battered eight months pregnant Heather Snively with a collapsible police baton after luring her to her home.

She then used a sharp instrument to cut the unborn baby from Miss Snively’s abdomen.

An autopsy showed that the baby boy, who did not survive, had been torn from Miss Snively’s womb.

That’s just so horrible. Really, just terrifying and horrible. Now can somebody read this awful story and tell me that its somehow relevant that this monster murdered a pregnant woman and her unborn baby with a baton and a “sharp instrument” rather than a gun?

And just to touch on another political issue, is the baby any less murdered as it was ripped from its mother’s womb before it was naturally born?

I appreciate the links everybody sends me, but maybe a little warning so I can prepare myself before I click on a link this sick?

Dude! Sorry- next time I’ll give you a synopsis in the e-mail!

There’s a special hell reserved for that one…

That’s just beyond sick. Killing someone is bad enough, but torture and mutilation… I’ve no real words…

On to fetus/baby and stuff… I hate it when laws have to define this shit. It seems like so many want to turn women into baby incubators and call it good. IF the fetus is defined as a baby, then can’t other groups prosecute women who might legitimately fall or have something happen to cause a miscarriage that late in the pregnancy? Wasn’t there some case of “unfit mother” when the woman had a late term miscarriage a while back?
Things regarding when life starts, that “permanently pre-pregnant” bullshit, and how just about everyone in the medical community forces the idea of getting pregnant down your throat makes me seriously wish I was male. One of the things that was said to me after being given the speech about how they can’t diagnose me with Chron’s but it sure looks like it and only the Anchorage guy can tell me for sure is how great it is that *gasp* I CAN still have kids!!!!! I looked at the doctor and said, “You just basically told me I have a chronic illness that is pretty hellish. Pregnancy on top of that is something beyond my wildest nightmare. Hopefully I can still get sterilized with this crap going on.” I got a really weird look over that.

And that’s yet another reason why I hate medical stuff right now.
