A man says he’s sorry for killing his girlfriend’s daughter.
Leamon Wesner read a statement in court this morning before a judge sentenced him for the beating death of two-year-old Jessica Nolan.
A jury recommended 20 years behind bars for Wesner, and today in court after saying he was sorry, a judge sentenced him to just that.
Awww, he’s sorry he beat his girlfriend’s daughter to death. I mean who hasn’t made a mistake? Can’t you see a bit of yourself in his grief?

We had one in the town next to us that was even worse. It was a boyfriend who kicked and stomped his girlfriend’s 2 year old daughter to death because she was talking while he was watching TV.
He was sentenced to 10 years.
10. Fucking. Years.
In a perfect world he’d have been tied down in the town square and drawn and quartered before that little girl’s body was even in the ground.
