Here it Goes!

So Friday was my last regular day of work for the next two weeks. Until September 13th I’ll only be working weekends in the lab. If you don’t remember, Tuesday my wife will be undergoing Brain Surgery that will hopefully to some extent cure her Epilepsy. (Its looking like a VERY good chance she’ll be 100% seizure free, tho likely will still be on some form of medication), and I’ll be spending the remainder of my weekdays helping my woman recuperate.

So Tuesday isn’t going to be a fun day for anybody here, and then we’ll start the healing.

We’ll have lots of family and friends, so for now all we really need is thoughts and prayers.

And thank you all my blog buddies who have been so supportive through all of this, I am truly humbled by how wonderful people are!

Best of luck with lots of love and good thoughts sent to you and your lovely lady! I hope her hospital time ends up being as nice as mine was. (I had AWESOME nurses and doctors. Can’t say enough good stuff about them…)

You take good care of her now. She’s awesome.

And don’t watch too much daytime TV. I still feel like my brain is dripping out of my ears from that. 😉 Good luck, and I’ll be watching for updates!

My sister had to have the same procedure, don’t sweat it, just be aware that she probably won’t be able to talk afterwords after hours of intubation.

Good information, I’ll pass it on. I’d be interested in as many details on the recovery side as you’d be willing to give. If not here mind shooing me an email at weerdbeard gmail ?
