My Terrible friend covers Tom Waits. Sadly not one of my favorite Waits songs, still I’m deeply amused.

Whole channel for Him!
Guitarist is using a well-dipper made by a helicopter company. Them ovations are made of synthetics and you can tie a line on one and they make pretty good well dippers and they float if you drop one out of a canoe. Shame they sound like non-standing-ovations.
Hee, hee. As somebody that has put bow to a mandolin, I never thought to do it with a banjo.
Best bowing ever, however, might have been the Original Spinal Tap, where Nigel Tufnel one-upped Jimmy Page bowing a Les Paul on stage by using a violing to bow a Les Paul on stage. (Interesting guitar geek rant–Lots of Led Zep was actually Telecasters, but Page didn’t use them on stage because he thinks they are ugly compared to a Les Paul sunburst…so a lot of people spent years trying to get the sounds of early Zep records out of Pauls when they were recorded on Tele 🙂
