Hey, can anybody tell me, even in Hollywood myth, a scenario in the “Wild West” where somebody rode through 5 towns murdering a dozen people, wounding over a dozen more, and never once encountering the lease bit of resistance. Then after over 3 hours when the gunman decided he’d shot enough retires to a quiet glen to blow his brains out. Only after this does the Sheriff discover the body.
See people opposed to gun rights always seem to liken gun owners to “Cowboys” or “Gunslingers”, and places with permissible gun laws are likened to the “Wild West”. Oddly enough I don’t see any scenarios in the Western Frontier of the United States that even remotely resemble the “Utopia” created by anti-rights advocates who sling the slurs.
Oh and guess what the Anti-rights people are calling for in England? MORE GUN CONTROL!!!
Because if at first you don’t succeed, do the exact same thing more! Two wrongs don’t make a right, but there must be SOME number of wrongs that will make one, I guess!!!

Try that for your Wild West Days — criminals try to take the money from the hard working citizens and get shot to rag dolls.
Try looking up the statistics on crime in the Wild West days and compare that to the same time period in London or Paris or even Philadelphia, New York City.
I don’t get the mind set either Weer’d. The only thing we can do is to keep on doing what we have been: educating people, teaching people to shoot and to know their rights.
