Bloggity

So I got my Sitemeter widget back up. My numbers are totally borked ATM because I didn’t notice that the widget needed to be re-installed when I switched the blog theme, its now tucked away at the bottom of the page. I still need to get my RSS blogroll going, maybe I’ll work on that this weekend.

Also thanks again for all who sent me stories for the “Gun Death?” Files, I was just running low, and ta-da my mailbox was filled with submissions, they’ll be showing up this week.

I’m totally digging the changes done on this blog, and I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback about the new header from bluesun, and even if I hadn’t I dig it, and my wife digs it, who else do you need? 😉

Needless to say I’m a man who doesn’t much care for appearance, and I’ve been putting 90% of my blog work into content….still right now it’s looking like that 10% is paying off!

And because I’m such a slacker in that department its all because of my readers.

Just thought I’d take a moment to thank you guys!

Yep right below where all that other shit is, is an RSS feed (with nothing in it so its empty) you make a blog post you go to the top of the list.

There are none of you people who I could call my favorites, or more-or-less deserving to be at a certain position on the list, and I won’t do a “Blogger’s I’ve met” section because its now several dozen. So now it’ll just keep us current on your blog, and I find it encourages people to click over.

Ah.. I understand what you are talking about. An RSS Blogroll feed.. why didn’t you just say so 🙂 /sarcasm

I like them as it is more traffic to the people that you want to drive people to.. but I have a guy that does that and every post he does, it sends a link to my blog showing that I was mentioned… only it is the blog feed to the right.. not that he mentioned me in the post… kinda annoying. dilutes the information I see as the admin.. if you get what I’m saying. I don’t know if there is anything he can do to prevent that (I think he’s on blogger) but I don’t see the same problem from WordPress people.

Glad to know it hasn’t aged poorly (yet)!
