Breda Knows

Breda came up with a gem, a young Theodore Roosevelt posing shirtless possibly after a day of swimming.

Dude was in GREAT shape, and he has a Beard! Brothers Unite! Breda thinks he’s hot. I’m not gonna argue with the likes of Breda, because she’s both pretty and well armed! 🙂

For those who want to know how Teddy, who was actually quite the sickly youth got so tore-up built. MAINE!

It is more than forty years ago that I first went to Island Falls and stayed with the Sewall family. I repeated the visit three or four times. I made a couple of hunting trips in the fall, with Bill Sewall and Wilmot Dow; and one winter I spent three or four weeks on snowshoes with them, visiting a couple of lumber camps. I was not a boy of any natural prowess and for that very reason the vigorous out-door life was just what I needed.

I was never quite so cut as Teddy back in those days, but working in the woods and waterfronts did keep me in much better shape than now as a lab-rat.

I noticed there were some dames on the site she linked to as well. That said, I’m sad that there wasn’t a dedicated “Bangable women in history” page.

Interesting… I think that stomping around in the snow at god-knows how cold got to your head… 🙂

What’s more amazing is that he was asthmatic, and there were no effective treatments at the time. He could’ve taken the easy route and acted like a pampered rich boy with a medical condition, but he didn’t!

I know, that’s why I decided to post that story. Yep he was a wealthy kid living in a time when many people still shat in holes in the ground here. Rather than stay in the sprawling estates, he chose to sleep in lean-toos and kill his own food, and later serve his country.

That sort of character is NOT common.
