Don’t B&E in New Hampshire, those people are free.
A Merrimack woman scared off a morning intruder who kicked in the door to her apartment after she retrieved a handgun which was kept in her home exactly for this purpose, police said.
Now the anti-rights types might say those who keep a gun for home defense are paranoid and are 458 times more likely to kill a family member, or other such hooey.
I think this woman would be pleased to tell them each individually, or as a group what she thinks.
Good on her for such fast thinking and preparation, I very well could have saved her life.

I posted about another DGU that didn’t make the local papers — I’m very surprised that the media covered this story at all.
I wonder which training academy she attended, how many rounds per month she puts down range.
Probably none and yet the presence of a firearm and the willingness to use it stopped a crime. It is almost as if that is the important part — not how many hours of training, how many finger prints, photos, etc — just an law abiding citizen doing what is right.
