Double Standard

As if this case wasn’t enraging enugh.

A Framingham police officer lost his balance and fell during a drug raid in January, causing him to accidentally shoot and kill a 68-year-old resident of the house who was not a target of the raid, an investigation by the Middlesex district attorney’s office and State Police has determined. The officer, Paul Duncan, will not face criminal charges.

Now can you imagine if I take a stumble in my own home and let off an ND that kills an innocent what would happen to me? Hell if I let off an ND and kill nothing more than a wall or floor and the Police get wind of it I’ll never own a gun again.

This cop will be kicking doors again.

Now from my understanding one of the teens living in the house was dealing drugs, that’s illegal, and the police should do their jobs to arrest and gather evidence. Still what exactly is needed for the cops to kick in doors and do a hot entry like this? How much evidence can be destroyed in the time it takes to knock on a door, and serve a warrant?

This is negligent manslaughter at best, and this cop has no right to wear a badge, or not do time for his crime.

End no-knock warrant TODAY!!

Lets not forget that the cops already had their man outside. He was arrested on the sidewalk, so they did not bust in to get him. . . . I think this shows the double standard in MA very well. This also support what I have see – that many cops are not as “highly trained” as the media wants you to think. . . .
