Fun Weekend

Sorry for the light blogging, folks came down for the weekend. Saturday they had a wedding to go to, we went to a Baby Birthday for Miss P.

Then we went to a performance of Verdi’s Requiem. Its one of the Wife’s favorite pieces. Frankly it doesn’t do much for me. Unfortunately while the venue sounded great, and our seats had an AMAZING view, the seats were UNBELIEVABLY uncomfortable. It was a long bench with numbered seats on it. The bench was comfy enough but it packed us REALLY close together, furthermore my toes were against the balcony rail, and my heels were against the bottom of the bench. After about an hour I was REALLY not feeling good. The wife saw I wasn’t having a good time and gave me the option to leave. I told her I’d like to stay…but about 20 more mins and I couldn’t take any more, and we went home. She wasn’t having all that much of a good time either because of the seat. Bummer.

The next day we had a big breakfast and the folks and I walked around the lake. The goslings are out. LOVE me some Baby Geese.

Then we had lunch and the folks went home. Now I’m out to get as much housework and blogging done as I can before I get too tired.
