Those who use “Gun Death” as a metric often say we can’t allow people to carry guns lawfully in bars and restaurant as there might be drunken brawls.
A California man is in jail for the stabbing death of a drinking buddy….The sergeant says Estrada and another man were drinking together when they began fighting. Hudson says in a news release that Estrada stabbed the man several times and fled.
Obviously the best way to stop “Gun Death” is to ban alcohol!

Ever notice how the anti gunners always tell us not to shoot intruders because it could be some drunk college kid at the wrong house?
Wouldn’t it be easier to tell people not to get drunk and kick in peoples’ doors?
Nah.
Also if you are so impaired that you not only think that a house that isn’t yours is yours…but you also think kicking down the door is a good idea whatever house it is, you are going to think a LOT of crazy things are good ideas…like attacking the rightful owners of the house….or maybe starting a fire in the living room couch because you’re cold.
As I’ve said to a lot of people who play that “but what if” game. I usually say “If I have my gun drawn on you already a lot has gone wrong, and unless you make a lot of right moves to de-escalate you’re going to get shot.”
