OK I found this story and its just plain strange.
A Florida woman accidentally strangled herself on Christmas Eve while attempting to relieve some pain with an electric neck massager. Michelle Ferrari-Gegerson, a 37-year-old physician residing in a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, was discovered lying unconscious on her bedroom floor by her husband. She was wrapping presents.
By the time paramedics came, Ferrari-Gegerson was declared dead.
I have NO idea how that happened or what EXACTLY was going on just before the time of death.
I WILL say that this is not a “Gun Death”, so her death, while tragic, does not count.
She was wearing a necklace that got caught in the gears of the massager somehow. Said gears then pulled the necklace until it acted as a garotte.
Sucky wat to die- just bizarre.
I blame ninjas.
Funny the massager has a presumption of innocence.
A surprising number of people strangle themselves in their sleep annually, but I can’t remember the source.
