You can’t own an “Assault Weapon”, and the law adheres to a definition more strict than even the federal law. Handguns must be approved as “Safe” by a series of arbitrary tests that have little to do with safety. The list goes on. This of course is to prevent “Gun Death”.
A 96-year-old man was in police custody Sunday on suspicion of fatally bludgeoning his wife — but he may not even be aware of her death, due to his dementia, KTLA-TV reported.
Officers were called Saturday to the Los Angeles home Milton Weiss shared with wife Ann on a report of a suspicious death, and found the 81-year-old woman dead from an apparent head injury.
As you can tell the laws work VERY well, and “Gun Death” is a very valid metric on how prosperous society is.
