A Reno, Nevada, mother’s live-in boyfriend is facing murder charges after 2-year-old Nalaya Jordan died after being severely abused, according to police.
Authorities say little Nalaya lived her short life in a home where her caretakers blew marijuana smoke in her face to make her sleep and beat her and shook her when she ‘whined.’

I don’t understand cases like this. If you don’t want your kid, then offer it up for adoption. Now the child is dead and they’re going to prison, it’s completely avoidable.
