In Case You Missed It

We had a vicious circle the other night

It starts off on a somber tone as we remember William The Coroner, I will also say if you knew or didn’t know William, Breda wrote quite the Eulogy for him.

William left us far too soon, and I was hoping to talk more with him and raise a few more glasses with him. Still as I said on the air, none of us are going to avoid death. Our best hope is to make enough of a mark on the world that we are missed by a very many people, and many of them you’ve never met, you’ve left the world better than how you found it.

That’s saying a lot. You’ll be missed William!

Yesterday, William had a nice Funeral Service that opened with a Bag Piper, nice words, and closed with the Bag Piper. Then last night, a few of us were able to get together up here at the Willoughby Brewing Company, and gave him a nice Memorial send-off. So I think, wherever he is, he should feel comforted by the fact that people cared about him.

However, the Piper did have the Scottish National Flag on his instrument, and the song he played was “Scotland the Brave”, so if there were any Englishmen in attendance, THEY might have felt a little uneased…

I’m glad the service went so well. Breda copied your sentiments.

The Piper at my Wedding played Scotland the Brave as our Recessional…I wouldn’t mind (tho I won’t be complaining) if it was my final recessional as well. Love that tune.
