Looks like Erin got herself a Kel-Tec Sub2000, and she writes an awesome review of it, go give it a read.
BTW I was unaware that that nubbin under the buffer tube was the charging handle. Erin wasn’t pleased with the design and gives a really good mod using a mag light head.
Great review, and happy shooting!
Say what you will about pistol caliber carbines, people, but that one just looks like fun.
That’s exactly what I said at the end of my review! There’s just something James Bond/G.I.Joe about the design that feels pleasing to my hands and makes me want to run around the house making “bang bang!” noises. 🙂
A friend has one and I love the heck out of it. I have no idea why I’ve never gotten one. They are a great little bug out bag addition in combo with same caliber pistol with matching mags. They’re lots of fun with the 33 rounders, too.
They make one that takes Sig 226 mags and I’ve heard that that version works with CZ 75 mags. The problem is all I ever see are the glock mag versions.
Some people say Kel Tec has a huge problem with QC, but I’d say the big problem is their distribution network and supply chain. A lot of people WANT Kel Tec guns, but can’t FIND them.
Great review Erin! As if I didn’t already want a pistol caliber carbine…..
And they make them to eat from 226 mags which I’m sure you have zillions of, Sig-boy! 🙂
I don’t own a P226 or a single P226 mag, actually.
Don’t let the SIG gods find out! They will smite you with their cosmic Decocking Lever!
I’ve never owned a Sig 226 but I’ve got some 226 mags, they run in my CZ75c
