Seriously, the Demon Lords and Demon Princes aren’t much of a struggle to kill, but at least they put up a fight. I just killed your ass while drinking my tea in about 3 turns and taking no damage.
Still I need that Candelabrum, so no sympathy for you, candy-ass!
Do you use on of the GUIs for NetHack, like VulturesEye or do you go old school ASCII?
I messed with Falcon’s eye and the now standard-issue tile set, but frankly I prefer the old school color ASCII
plus I play online at alt.org which is ASCII-only over telnet.

You’re really making me want to get back into nethack Weer’d. Wonder if I can get the wife into playing it too. She enjoys D&D.

I don’t think my wife would like D&D (too many rules…hell when I played D&D I would just tell the DM what I was doing and throw whatever die he asked me to, I still couldn’t roll a character sheet if you asked me to) but we’ve played a ton of pen-and-paper RPGs that are build on a simpler system and she loves them.
Still Nethack is NOT the part of RPGs she likes…there’s no story, there’s minimal social interactions, and its long and has lots of controls. I really like it.
What telnet client do you use? I tried using Blowtorch on my Droid but I get a connection error.
I can’t get alt.org to run on my phone, but on my PC I use PuTTy
