So there is one interesting news story. Appears that Convicted Felon and Bribe-taker Dianne Wilkerson is going to be doing 3 years and change. (I’m sure she’ll manage to be released early from that. Also a colleague of hers was also charged with a very similar crime( (taking cash in exchange for allowing a liquor permit to go through) I have a feeling crazy Chuck will also get some time in the can.
This of course is an anti-climax given that our last three speakers of the Mass House have resigned in the wake of Federal Felony Charges (The Latest, Sal Demasi is under indictment and awaiting trial), and rather than prison time these beasts get a hero’s welcome at the scene of the crime.

Well only when they’re convicted of a crime. But if we started enforcing high treason, and breaking their oath of office, I think you’re pretty close to the mark.
…if we enforce it as a capital crime, we won’t have to worry about crowded prisons…. 😉
