Been listening to a bunch of Smodcasts and in one Kevin Smith and Chris Hardwick talk about the origin of this song:
I remember seeing the remake of Psycho and just being wide-eyed at the shower scene. Was I the only one who saw that? Was I mistaken? I saw the movie in the Theater with my parents, and I wasn’t quite comfortable to broach the subject with them.

I kinda like it. Certainly works great for the daily grind in the lab.

Lord love a duck, if it gives you pleasure I’ll try not to gripe too much, but that was the single most pointless remake in history. If you’re going to watch “Psycho”, watch the original.
100% agree! I only saw it that once, out of simple curiosity. Actually on the podcast that directly inspired this Chris Hardwick refereed to the remake as “Film Karaoke”.
