I actually have a low-flow shitter that digests what I drop in it like my S&W1911s digest ammo. That being said, I know there are vastly too many complaints for me to see my commode as anything but the exception to the rule.
What really fries me is the low flow shower heads. They just make baiting far too unpleasant. And I pay to heat my water, so I don’t wantonly waste water, but when I take a shower I’d prefer to have it be ultra- hot and high-volume!
And isnt San Francisco experiencing sewer back-ups because these eco-friendly toilets are not creating enough pressure to adequately flush? SF has had to issue instructions for people to flush before going then flush twice more after going which wastes 50% more water then if they had a regular toilet.
I believe this was brought up in a council meeting and typical liberal thinking was there was no way water could be wasted since each flush was < a regular toilet. Basic math seems to have escaped them.
Heh, I say the same thing about the weight-savings of 5.56×45. Sure 100 rounds of 5.56 weighs 60% of 100 rounds of 7.62×51, but aren’t we needing to put more rounds down range to get the job done?
This only gets worse with full-auto.
I never heard about SF sewers (how do you tell where the city ends and the sewer begins?) But I could see that. Certainly It sounds like people are flushing more.
PS This same BS with light bulbs was done in Europe and an extremely smart individual found way around it. Basically he does not sell them as lightbulbs- instead they are sold as “micro-heaters” that have a benefit of giving light.
Pissed the EU green commission off big time as their is nothing that they can do since light bulbs fit the strict definition of green micro-heaters. So Europeans continue to enjoy their regular light bulbs.
I got tired of my low flow shower head so I took it apart. There is a washer with a little pinhole in it, When I removed that, there was enough water pressure to peel the skin off of my back. We save on soap that way.
Damn! Bitch got pwned.
Yep, Hammer meet nail… 🙂
I’ve got a toilet like that.
I HATE it.
Mr. Paul: rock, rock on.

Good to know! 😀
