Big Shake in Maine

Last light just after 7pm Maine had 4.0 Earthquake.

Talking with family, and of course Wally from York Arms which was right near the epicenter, and everybody is OK with no noticeable damage.

BTW a seismic event that collapses the big dig is one of my most-like SHTF scenarios!

Glad everybody is ok!

Just in case anyone thinks it can’t happen in the Northeast:

I have this vauge memory of being told, as a child growing up near Boston, that there’s a major fault running under the city. Its just never gone off. Now I’ve never bothered to check into that, but this sorta thing brings it back to mind. Might have to look into it. Yet ANOTHER reason why the Big Dig was a bad idea!!

So if the Big Dig collapses, would it really make a difference in your Morning Commute?

Are we certain that Wally was not the cause of the quake yet?
