Damn New England Weather!

So Today the weather was warm, sunny, with a gentle breeze! I was looking forward to getting out of work and going on a nice walk and take in the spring air.

By the time I was able to get out of work it dropped 10 degrees and started raining!

They Say in New England, if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute and it’ll change. Too bad that also goes for when you think the weather is bitchen….

I think they have that saying for everywhere. Here it’s “they say in the Rocky Mountains…”

Of course, we tell that saying to tourists trying to climb mountains, so they don’t kill themselves by getting caught in a blizzard while wearing shorts.

And to finish my thought, you probably tell it to tourists so they don’t get caught out in a sailboat in a Nor’easter or something.

They say of the Acropolis, where the Parthenon is…

Don’t worry. You’ll be buried under two meters of heavy, wet snow as soon as you put your snowblowers away.

As I mostly work in NYC, I can share that they say there: “If you don’t like the weather, go back the f*ck where you came from!”

That sucks. We hit the range, I biked 10+ miles, and we took the puppy for a walk for a couple more. Then we busted out the grill.

Tomorrow it’s supposed to be like 10 or 20 degrees colder and windy as hell though.

After spending 6 years in Buffalo I can’t complain about where I’m living now, at least the winters.

Though they say of Indy, if you don’t like the weather wait a few hours.

The lack of a big aqueous thermal capacitor does strange things. Though locally I live due East of a reservoir and even that will affect the weather I get.

It was the opposite in WI yesterday. Biked to work in a balmy 38 degrees. On the way home it was closer to 80.
