Don’t Rob Waffle House

Its almost as bad as robbing a gun shop

Found this via John.

Good to hear a Police Officer actually saying the right thing about conceal carry after it saves lives. Also good on the customer for doing everything right, including carrying his gun in the first place.

Remember, carry your guns, people, you just might need them!

‘But we don’t know for sure they would have killed the customers!’

Its a shame that Joan can’t put her money where her mousy mouth is.

I don’t know about you, but I love that they’ve been forced into a corner and now have to make ridiculous statements like that. We don’t know the man who’s pointing a gun at people intends them harm? Really now?

The average person is (rightfully) going to think they’re just plain nuts. I’d like to see them try to argue that in a public debate or even a news show, not that most places will even give them the time of day anymore.

This was a great story. I used to live a few miles from that Waffle House. I can hear the regulars chanting “We must protect this house!”

    • Weerd Beard says:

Hey, if this is your place for hash browns and coffee (Smothered, Covered and Capped, baby!!) I don’t want to see any harm to the business nor the people that bring me my grub!

      Smothered covered and cap busted!

Sadly the closest Waffle House to me is in the People’s Republic of Maryland…..

  4. Sadly, the Waffle Houses in TN are thought of as gun free zones. There is a sign posted outside about 20 feet from the door that states alcohol and firearms are not allowed. Happily, this is not considered to be “legally posted” in TN so I carry there anyway. Concealed of course. Some of the staff that have been there over 10 years know I have it. They’re generally happy I do. The sign basicly means nothing, but the point is it is a cheap shot at our rights. I love me some Waffle House coffee though. I’ve had $40.00/pound blends that don’t taste near as good.

Yeah. Being a Yankee I haven’t been in many Waffle Houses, but most of the ones I’ve been in have been posted, and several of those have been in North Carolina where the signage is binding.
