Willowick police have shot and wounded a woman who they say had come into a McDonald’s on Vine Street Wednesday night and held the manager hostage.
Now compare and contrast this with the incident at the Waffle House.
No innocents were harmed in either case, the difference is no innocents were harmed in the McDonalds because the violent criminal chose not to.
Do you want to trust a person like that with your life?
Carry your guns, and trust yourself with your safety.
Full Disclosure/Followup Time: I’ve eaten there many times in the past, but only if I’m on that side of my Area. But I usually hit the Wendy’s just down the road, since I like Lard a lot.
But the Local Fox 8 News team had a live report this morning, where it seems that the Shooter walked in, asked for the Manager by name, THEN pulled the Gun and placed it in the Manager’s back. Then she ordered everyone out, all the while keeping the gun on the Manager. So, this is one of the few times where I think drawing on the Perp might have been the wrong thing to do.
But what is nice is that the Police Dept showed up quickly, but since they are only around the corner, I think the Perp didn’t plan ahead. And the Willowick P.D. did NOT set up a Perimeter and wait for the SWAT Team to show up a half hour later. One of the local LEOS did some ordinary cop work, she got distracted and he double tapped her. Start to Finish was about 5 minutes, according to the Police Chief.
But here’s some Irony: In the last 48 hours, there have been 3 shootings in the City of Cleveland, yet none of them made the TeeWee. Move the Shooter 15 miles away from the Ghetto into the ‘Burbs, and it’s all over the News.
So the “It CAN’T happen here!” attitude seems to be alive and well. And there still seems to be a lot of Racism happening out there. I mean, the attitude of “Who Cares?” what THEY do in THEIR Neighboorhood still seems to be alive and well. Sad.
Bottom Line: “Gun Violence” can happen ANYWHERE, so leave your Candles at Home.
