This one is a ttofecta of horrible:
A woman and two children found dead in a suburban Detroit home when officers went to notify her of her husband’s death in a fatal crash were stabbed with a butcher knife, police said Friday.
Police said officers entered the home after finding the door ajar and getting no response. They found the bodies of Linda VanDerLinden and her two sons in separate bedrooms.
Van Buren Township police Capt. Gregory Laurain said an autopsy showed Linda VanDerLinden, 34, died of strangulation but had been stabbed in the chest.
The medical examiner’s report said Julien VanDerLinden, 7, and his brother Matthew VanDerLinden, 4, were stabbed multiple times in the chest and arms, Laurain said.
He said investigators believe an 8 1/2-inch butcher knife found in the kitchen sink was the weapon used in the stabbings.
So sick Daddy strangles his wife, and then pokes some holes in her for good measure, then stabs his young kids to death. All with a carving knife…again why would anybody NEED a kitchen knife???
Then I’m betting his suicide method was by car, but the police are unsure.
So a triple-murder suicide, committed by objects 99% of us all have. Bare hands, kitchen knives, and cars. Those who use “Gun Death” as a metric seem to imply that guns cause crime, and banning guns will somehow stop crime. Meanwhile almost all of us own guns and commit no crimes, but they must ban guns because very few people commit horrible crimes with guns. Yet here’s a very horrible crime committed with items we ALL have. The anti-rights logic doesn’t hold up.
