Police say 33-year-old Maria Anna Cruz Lopez accidentally backed over five children in the driveway of her Lewisdale home, resulting in the death of her 8-year-old daughter.
What? How does this happen?
Authorities believe Cruz Lopez mistakenly pressed the gas pedal instead of the break on her SUV. The car struck the children and continued down the driveway before becoming lodged in the garage.
Really? They’re THAT hard to confuse? I’m not buying it, nor do I WANT to buy it!
