I put it on my phone last night, and listened to it during my morning rounds in the lab. Dr. Cramer’s talk was very informative, and very good. I re-listened to Mas Ayoob’s section because he’s that awesome and knowledgeable. And then Steven Jansen appeared to call them both liars, and cite law that as far as I can tell as a layman are untrue.

This last speaker is a douche. I hope that he doesn’t practice law. He’d get his ass handed to him. I would love to hear Mas tell him how wrong he really is. I bet that Mas has slept through more arguments in court than this clown has made.
Yeah, I NEED that rebuttal round! They discuss it briefly in this podcast, but Mas doesn’t let on about what transpired in the missing part of the talk. š
I absolutely loved that line by Mas where he said that criminals have been using āit was self-defenseā as an excuse since the dawn of law (along with āI didnāt do itā)- and strong prosecutors, like the man on his left, have been able to see right through those lies and get a conviction. Awesome setup. The only way to rebut that would be to say, āno, I suck.ā
