never heard of the gun, never heard of the cartridge, and even he doesn’t know how to get the barrel out.
Evolutionary dead-end, and looks like quite the ergonomical nightmare!
How cool is that?

I love his channel, he doesn’t just have cool old stuff, he knows lots about and shoots his cool old stuff.
I can’t wait to see him make some ammo for this one.
Ah, he shows the Frommer Stop as well. Yup, Frommer came up was some oddball designs. It’s too bad that Uberti or similar doesn’t make reproductions of more old and dead designs. I’d love a new Broomhandle, for example.
I’d imagine new-production Broomies (preferably with cast frames and MIM parts to cut down on production costs of what would be an expensive pistol to reproduce to original spec today) chambered various pedestrian calibers (9mm, .45, .40 S&W….maybe .357 SIG or 7.62x25tok) I’d imagine that would meet an unmet need of people who LIKE Broomies, but either aren’t comfortable shooting old collector’s pieces, or the price of working models is too high.
Seems there’s a HUGE Broomie following, but the market is hardly sated.
