Quote of the Day

I’m in a grouchy mood, so when Joan Presents me with a low-hanging fruit, I just HAVE to take a swing.

this bogus argument is used to deflect from the need for background checks on all sales; pro gun guys are wrong

Yep, that’s why pro-gun guys only cite pro-gun paid data, and why pro-gun people screen our content so no dissenting comments see the light of day, and when it comes to the above mentioned background check we have no arguments supporting our positions.

Yeah, Joan, good call, we’re wrong, and you’re right!

point and laugh!

She has delusions of intellectual adequacy.

  2. Not a single one of them has even commented on my blog post regarding the fallacy of background checks. The fact is they have no response though is not surprising. To them it’s a privileged not a right, so if an innocent is caught up in the “wheels of justice” they don’t care.

Better the innocent be disarmed than to have them armed and capable of fighting back.

Well they don’t comment at all! Mike Bunch-of-numbers, Robert Farago, and Jason Kilgore are the only anti-rights people who have left comments on this blog, and none of them bothered to discuss the topics at hand, or defend their positions.

After multiple instances, I gave them a formal warning, and their responses were equally as trollish, so now my spam filter reads their “comments”.

If they had a leg to stand on they would have presented it 20 years ago!

      They haven’t because they don’t.

Here, Weer’d, I’m pointing and laughing!

HATE giving Joan ammo, but Every Gun is Technically Off a Teensy Bit. Up here in OhioLand, there are 3 types of dealers at the Gun Shows. You have the Licensed FFL guys who HAVE to run a NICS check and the 4473 before they can make a Sale. Then you have the Guy selling Venison Jerky, but he doesn’t count. Then we have the “Not a Dealer” people, who buy a Table or two, put up their “Not a Dealer” sign, and enjoy the Fruits of Capitalism. I’ve done it myself. But even the “Not a Dealer” guys are SUPPOSED to look at a Valid Ohio Drivers License or some other form of ID that says they are Legal Residents of the Buckeye State. That’s why when offered a chance to cross over into PA or West-by-God to go to a Gun Show, I don’t go. Too Painful.

Of course, we have the Cheap Bastard who has a Gun Shop, has his Buddies walk around with a Long Gun and a Sign in the Barrel and makes the Parking Lot Sales, but I personally don’t deal with them. Buy a Table!

But yeah, there is a little more “Checking” that occurs than Every Gun might think, at least up here in Ohio. Which Makes Joan’s Argument even less Valid. And I’m NOT saying Every Gun is Wrong, either. Just adding some more Datum.
