Starting to See the Sad Faces

So I guess there was some sort of a sports thing last night. I wouldn’t know. I spent the evening listening to music, sipping Oban, chatting on the Conspiracy, and writing up a month’s worth of “Gun Death?” Stories. (Thanks again to all who submitted stories, you make the project nearly effortless to maintain)

Still the wicked-smart college kids got pissy and needed the riot cops to put them to bed. Good for you guys!

BTW if you’re rioting over something that I had forgotten about until I turned the news on this morning, and won’t effect my day in ANY way but amuse me with the weepy jock-sniffers around the office, maybe you shouldn’t be sniffing tear gas over it.

I didn’t even notice there were riots.

  2. Greg Camp says:

Was there a sports event yesterday? Was it the stiltwalking championship in Belgium?

  3. AZRon says:

I forget. Are the riots bigger when the team wins…or loses?

    • Weerd Beard says:

Generally they’re proportional to the size of the government benifits checks received.

      • HerrBGone says:

The government gives benefit checks when you riot? So that’s what I’m doing wrong!

I recently picked up a complete set of HBO’s From the Earth to the Moon on VHS for short money at one of my favorite consignment shops. Watched the middle two tapes last night. I’ll bet I got more out of that than either most fans who watched the game or any of the rioters.
