The Untied States appears headed for its worst year for whooping cough in more than five decades, with the number of cases rising at an epidemic rate that specialists say may reflect a problem with the effectiveness of the vaccine.
Nearly 18,000 cases have been reported so far — more than twice the number seen at this point last year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday. At this pace, the number for the entire year will be the highest since 1959, when 40,000 illnesses were reported.
I will also note that Massachusetts that allows anybody to opt out of vaccinations for “religious or health reasons”, and I heard a report that Massachusetts is currently experiencing record high numbers of parents opting out of the vaccinations.
Couldn’t find the report I heard, but in running a google search I found a ton of websites encouraging people to not accept vaccines.
Look idiots, your kids are going to asphyxiate from whooping cough, tuberculosis, or Polio because great minds of the 21st century like Jenny McCarthy says that MAYBE it might make your children autistic.

It’s not just those diseases. There’s a vaccine for Lyme disease as well, but a group moaned about how they didn’t feel hunky-dory after getting it, and now it’s only available for dogs.

If a private school allows unvacinated kids in, the parents of the rest of the kids should be warned.
