Felony charges against a New Hampshire man who fired a warning shot at an alleged robber have been dropped.
Dennis Fleming’s attorney confirmed the news to MyFoxBoston.com.
Now as I said here, warning shots are stupid, as you’re using a deadly force implement when deadly force is not yet warranted.
That being said, I say no harm, no foul. But this should be advised against as it can make things swing VERY badly against you, legally speaking.
Good to hear! As you said, warning shots are stupid and dangerous, but being charged with a felony because of it would be a travesty of justice.
