From AZRon:

You’ll notice that once again, it has less to do with guns, and more to do with unrepentant shitheads. At this point, I have no problem with the eye for an eye philosophy.

Let’s break it down to its basic elements: Less murderers= less murders. Easy, peasy, japanesey. It’s not a difficult concept to those that value human life over political correctness.

Give them each a small bag of Cheetos and then split their f@cking skulls wide open. Future trouble averted, tune in to Nickelodeon and laugh. I hear Dora explores.

That’s the whole point of the “Gun Death?” Files. To show “Gun Death” is a worthless metric on safety, and to show how great a world without guns might be.

also “Japaneasy” made me laugh, and while my young Nieces and Nephews watch Dora on TV I swear I will never let my child watch that shit…still Swiper, no swiping!

Keep in mind, everyone needs to know that the “Eye for an Eye” Punishment was the UPPER Limit. One could not Blind one’s adversary by taking BOTH Eyes.

But a Life for a Life would be Legal.

    Just Sayin…..

Sorry, Weer’d. Get used to the idea of Dora. All your kid’s friends will be fans, so there will be no avoiding it.

Doesn’t mean you can’t introduce some more pleasant alternatives, though. Our son was into “Little Einsteins”, which includes classical art and music in their adventures, and our daughter liked “Ni Hao, Kai-Lan”, which covers basic Chinese and real people skills (at a kindergarten level).

I promised myself my daughter would not be the stereotypical girl wearing pink everything. That didn’t happen, of course, but it’s not a total loss: her favorite color is red, and she loves Mickey Mouse (but not Minnie). Also, her kindergarten taught her the phrase “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy”, which is REAL cute when said in her little voice! 🙂

    Weer’d,

Thanks for the shout-out. Coming from one of my favorite bloggers, I consider it high praise indeed. Keep fighting the good fight, and never let the bastards get the upper hand. Your unborn deserves to know the nation from the view of a free Beard.
