Always a long-heeded discussion, why do women get paid less overall, and don’t occupy the highest positions in business on average.
I agree with the conclusions. It isn’t sexism, its Women putting their career on hold, or being less aggressive in the corporate ladder once they have children.
Also I see nothing wrong with that!
I’ve also noticed that the women who DO make it up the corporate ladder tend to be absolutely RUTHLESS when it comes to business. Their company becomes their life project, and they protect it like it’s their child.
This would make an interesting study, profiling the personality of successful corporate businessmen and -women, and comparing and contrasting the traits by several factors, including gender. Any psychology majors looking for a thesis topic?
