Police have announced an arrest in the fatal stabbing of a retired Villanova professor in her Germantown apartment….She had been stabbed multiple times in her chest and neck area.
Police say Diaz, a sub-contractor, had access to the victim’s apartment on the day of the murder. No word on a motive.
This is also why I don’t give my key to workers. If I need to miss work to let people into my house, I’ll do that, and I’m ALWAYS armed when strangers are in my home.

Agree.. If I am not home, it does not get done. And all doors that do not to be open shall be closed. No need to share info on what’s inside with strangers.
30-something years ago, when my wife was still in school, her apartment was just a few blocks away from there. She tells me that even back in those days, her landlord was concerned about that sort of thing.
