Why Would You Need Magazines Holding More than 7?

New York’s SAFE act limits pistol magazines to a capacity of 7. Why would you need more? How about 400 reasons?

Hundreds of teenagers stormed and trashed a Brooklyn, N.Y., mall in a wild flash mob that forced the shopping center to close its doors during day-after Christmas sales, sources said on Friday.

More than 400 crazed teens grabbed and smashed jars of candy, stole cheap items such as baby balloons and beat up security guards at Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., merchants said.

A violent game of “Knockout” also broke out on the upper level of the mall — and one teen may have been carrying a gun, sources said.

The teens used social media to plan the mass looting, vowing to put the mall “on tilt” – or to raid it, according to posts on Facebook and Twitter.

Clerks, who scrambled to close up their shops, said they were terrified.

The “Knockout Game” is frequently fatal, and certainly can be considered an activity of grave bodily harm. Is there any surprise they chose a Mall in Brooklyn where only uniformed police and security would have guns?

These “Flash Mobs” are a great protection for individuals committing horrible crimes, as there can only be so many police, and they can only arrest so many people. The bulk of these violent criminals would get away with it.

When patrons and proprietors are allowed to be armed the tables can be quickly turned in the favor of the lawful citizens. We saw what happened when a crazy man went rampage in Utah.

Guns save lives, and Gun Free Zones are a threat to EVERYBODY.

What do you need a GUN for, Citizen? There are Armed Guards here to keep you safe!

A similar incident happened in the Chicago suburbs at the North Riverside Mall Friday night, only it’s not being reported in the news. I read about it on the Second City Cop blog.
