“Gun Death” Houston Mass Stabbing

Looks like a lunatic has stabbed a bunch of people in Houston:

Twelve people were rushed to area hospitals after an attack on the campus of Lone Star College Cy-Fair in northwest Harris County. Two other people were treated for minor wounds at the scene in the 9900 block of Barker Cypress.

Witnesses said a suspect ran down a hallway randomly stabbing students in the Health and Science Center.

Video here:

Yet another “Gun Free Zone” as the location for a massive attack. So far no dead, but a few people are in critical condition.

Also another thing to note is that there ZERO chatter about this from the anti-rights crowd…some violence just doesn’t concern them, even when its national news.

Thanks to all who sent me this, my email EXPLODED when this attack happened.

Be safe out there.

  1. Archer says:

    Don’t forget this part:

“God protected us in our classroom,” he said. “We wish we could protect ourselves with guns and stuff. We wish that the law would let us carry guns because we’re legal adults, [to] carry guns on campus to protect ourselves. But so far all we have to rely on is God. But we would love to have God and the law on our side.”

Of course the antis will try to spin this as “No gun used; Gun-free zones must work”, but my thought (along with this guy’s) is “Gun-free zone; Assailant with a F@#$ING PEN-KNIFE was unstoppable”.

  2. I’m sure if you point it out to them, they’ll say “See? No one died. If he’d used a gun, 600 people would have been murdered instantly!” Maybe a slight exaggeration, but only slight.

    • Weerd Beard says:

Given that two of the students needed to be air-lifted to the hospital, I’m amazed and thankful nobody did die.

From the reports it appeared he used a craft knife, and the stabbing stopped when all the blade segments had been snapped off. Can you imagine if he had used a simple piece of kitchen cutlery?

      • Yeah, it could have been WAY worse.

Heck, it’s easy enough to carry a hatchet or even a machete in a backpack. Imagine the damage he could have done with a kukri.

I don’t think I was EVER without a decent pocket knife in college. Luckily Kentucky had very generous knife laws. Ohio’s are much more confusing, and annoyingly a concealed carry license here only covers guns. God forbid I should attempt to carry an assault baton instead of a Glock.

  3. Bob S. says:

That guy may be deaf but he definitely has some above average abilities somehow.
I mean he violated the student Code of Conduct !

    02.03 Assault
Students are prohibited from assaulting any person on System property or while under the System’s jurisdiction at any System/College sponsored events. (System Policy Manual Section VI E.3.04) An “assault” is defined as:
    1. Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly causing bodily injury to another;
    2. Intentionally or knowingly threatening another with imminent bodily injury; or
    3. Intentionally or knowingly causing physical contact with another when the student knows or should reasonably believe that the other will regard the contact as offensive or provocative. (Texas Penal Code 22.01)

Right there on page 26 it lays out that students are prohibited from assaulting any person on campus ! We need to subject him to intense scrutiny to figure out how he did it.
