Images of the Antis: I Could Turn This Around

Except the supermarket, restaurant, and city park down the street from these schools don’t seem to have the same issues as school shootings, and mall shootings, Hospital shootings, and restaurants where no guns are allowed shootings etc.

Hell the latest failed rampage shootings was stopped simply because the shooter saw another gun.

After that, REDACTED set off one of the Molotov cocktails, setting at least three bookshelves on fire, investigators told KDVR.com. When an armed school resource officer entered the room, REDACTED believed he was cornered and turned his gun on himself, Robinson said. The entire attack lasted approximately 80 seconds and was captured by security cameras.

He just SAW the gun. Now I don’t know about this school, but there was an armed cop in my High School for my last few years there, and it was just one officer, and I don’t even think he worked a full school day in the school. Also my school was pretty sprawling, and even if you were sprinting down the empty halls it would probably take you several minuets to get from one end of the school to the other. So I’d say this was a bit of good luck for the students.

Still we don’t see shootings in many other places where people can lawfully go armed. Maybe LESS guns aren’t the solution….

There’s also that Oliver endorses security theatre.

Sure the TSA may not have stopped a single terrorist, and the removal of shoes is pointless, but it’s *doing something*!

To the anti, rituatlistic cargo-cult security of no tangible benifit is *good*. Provided it errodes the Bill of Rights (2nd, 1st, 4th… honestly they’re not picky).

And also note how Oliver gives the game away. He says “no change”. Despite all the laws that have passed in decades since Columbine. It’s Never, Ever enough for the Antis.

Maybe after 31 School Shootings (which we all know is UNPOSSIBLE! because No Guns are Allowed on Campus!), we should do something about the School Laws? Like, say have MANDATORY Armed School Resource Officers in every school?

Lord knows, there’s enough Vets out there who could use a job.

Hell screw the Resource officer, that’s just sucking money away from an already bloated system that supplies only a small percentage of its budget to educating children.

Instead just abolish the gun free zone status of schools. So a teacher can have a CCW. A Principal, a secretary, a custodian. Further outside visitors could also be armed, so repairmen and plumbers, and parents picking up kids, or volunteering their time.

A resource officer could be singled out and either killed first, or avoided. Even if they were not uniformed. But when ANYBODY at ANYTIME might be armed, suddenly schools become all those other densely populated areas that don’t see any mass shootings.

Case in point, Utah. Never been a school shooting since the GFZ status has been dissolved, and given that its Utah, you KNOW that there is a significant number of school workers who are packing EVERY day.

Attempted Underwear Bombing on a Plane — Stopped by the People.

Isn’t it about time we let the People stop the School Shootings?

Weerd … you left his name in the news blurb. Not sure if you missed it …
