Scared of Lame Knives

So stupid

Massachusetts Rep. Ed Markey introduced a bill Tuesday to stop the government from allowing airline passengers to carry small knives on planes, as two more airlines this week joined in opposition to the revised federal policy.

Markey said he resorted to legislative action because the Transportation Security Administration refuses to reverse its recent policy change that permits knives and other potential weapons in cabins, despite widespread criticism.

“If TSA won’t reverse its policy to allow knives onto planes, then Congress will take action with this legislation,” the Democratic congressman said. “There is no reason for a passenger to have a knife on a plane, and allowing knives on planes puts our flight attendants, pilots and passengers at greater risk.”

Remember, the pro-freedom people are the ones pushing a “Culture of Fear”.

The video is pretty hysterical too!

No reason to have a knife on a plane? Hasn’t he ever tried to eat the “chicken”?

Bro, I remember this JackHole trying to stop the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant back in the ’80s when I was stationed up at the Portsmouth Shipyard.

What’s Scary is that not only has the Massachusetts Electorate NOT gotten rid of him, he’s probably going to be your next U.S. Senator!

Even Kuchinich knew he didn’t have a Snowball’s Chance if he left his Congressional Seat to run for the Senate here in Ohio.

Knives are one of our most important tools. They are great for CUTTING things like seat-belts in an emergency. I wonder how many deadly knives are used to save lives every year by citizens, EMTs, and other first responders. Few thing more useful than a good knife. If the AWB silliness wasn’t going on, I’d be trying to get Sen. Paul to change knife legislation.
