Is there any doubt that the followers of “Global Warming” “Global Climate Change” are a cult masquerading as science?

Oddly the only people who have a “Consensus” on Global Warming Whatever they want to call it, are those who stand to profit from its mythical existence. This is no different than the “Studies” by the Tobacco Institute from the 50s. Something that is now considered a scientific laughing stock of Scientific Mercenaries bending the rules of logic to line their own pockets.
Not that being a mercenary for ANY cause is WRONG per-se, if somebody want to pay you to write a bogus report, take the money and run. Just don’t call it “Science”!
And yes, if you’re in the cult and feel that maybe your ability to reproduce is harming Mother Gaea…well maybe you should do something about that! *snicker*

Wonder if Mr. Weatherman is going to stop driving to work, heck stop working altogether. The Studio uses an amazing amount of electricity; probably generated through coal or nuclear energy. Just the lights there are enough to add a couple of points to the local temperature increase.
And his house, hooboy — guess how much that carbon footprint is.
Great points! Think of how much energy is used to film, produce, and broadcast the weather report…
And think of how often its RIGHT!
Really, broadcasting on video is just a vain indulgence. Even audio feed is wasteful.
Why not a simple teletype that can scroll on screen. Oh I suppose some graphics can be added. But the nice thing about text only is that it’s compatable with audio (text to speech) and visual only mediums.
And it conveys the same information with a far, far smaller carbon footprint. Faster too!
Oh wait, it’s not a Gia-smothering waste when it’s their pretty faces being broadcast.
Plus I go to Weather.com, and have aps for my computer and phone.
SUPER easy, and WAYYY less wasteful, and far more accurate than TV Weather which doesn’t update as often, and isn’t tailored for my area!
Two points:
One, maybe we’ll be saved from the dystopian future of Idiocracy after all.
Two, it’s good to see one of them acknowledge airplanes instead of just cars. I’m looking at Hollywood hypocrites who try to shame people into driving a Nissan Leaf like they do (powered from the carbon producing grid), while flying a private jet to Cannes every year.
If Eric was so damn righteous he would have not flown home.
