The Sheriff’s Office says a woman stabbed an intruder to death early Monday at a North Bend home. Sgt. Cindi West says the woman’s husband was struggling with the man about 1:40 a.m. when she got a knife and stabbed the stranger to help her husband….West said a couple, their 7-month-old daughter and the woman’s mother were asleep shortly before 1:40 a.m. Monday when the family’s dogs barked and the man got up to let them out.
The man was confronted by an intruder, and the two men got into a fight.
“At some point the wife jumped in to help. One of them, I’m not sure which, grabbed a knife and stabbed the suspect,” West said.
The man was pronounced dead at the house, which is in the 10100 block of 420th Avenue Southeast.
