We’re Here, Joan!

Man Joan is a fool!

We’ve had yet another mass shooting. Two actually. Last week 12 people were shot dead at the Navy Yard in Washington D.C. just blocks from the U.S. Capitol. Also last week, 13 people were shot and injured in Chicago in a shooting that also injured a 3 year old. That’s two in a week. Now what? When should we be able to talk about how we can stem the tide of gun violence?

Said in a blog with moderated and essentially closed comments.

My comment section is WIDE open, Joan. You won’t allow me to talk there, because I bring real “Common Sense”. Quit pretending to care.

**UPDATE** Here’s some discussion for you. I look forward to you ignoring it because it is both rational and logical, as well as not fitting your agenda.

Note that ANY discussion that is both rational and logical will NEVER fit Joan’s agenda because she is neither.

She only wants to ‘talk’ w/ people that already agree w/ her.

I end most of my posts with “Please join the discussion” — and unlike Joan it is sincerely meant.

I have only one person who is on hold (not prohibited ) from commenting on my blog — and he can comment any time he wants by opening up about his past.

Joan doesn’t want to talk about stemming the tide of gun violence; she wants to talk about how to implement her ideas of controlling people. Well, the people have heard them (seriously the antis just won’t shut up about them!!!) and have decided – NO Thanks.

No thanks after Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech, Columbine, Aurora Colorado — people have thought about what it would do to the country to implement her ideas and took a pass…….and that is what she can’t understand.

Well, when you use a shooting in a gun-free-zone where the bad guy had a secret level clearance and a Biden-approved shotgun he purchased at an FFL to push for magazine bans, rifle bans, and private sale bans, the jig is kind of up.

It’s like how they’ll go all wounded fawn about how “they’re not after your guns” while singing the praises of countries that did exactly that.

We can do one better on the Chicago one. Reportedly, Ill. Gov. Quinn is considering sending National Guard troops to the city to help try to control the violence. I’m sure they’re going to blame the (as-yet-not-implemented) CCW law, but let us count the ironies:
    – Chicago is STILL basically a Gun-Free Zone, but this potential solution to “gun violence” (which WE all know is actually GANG violence) is … wait for it … MOAR GUNZ!!!
    – “Government Monopoly on Force” comes to mind (and it is a BAAAAD idea for the government to have that particular monopoly).
    – Wouldn’t that be considered martial law? And isn’t a declaration of martial law essentially a declaration/admission of governmental impotence? (as an aside: Who’s “compensating” now, b!tches!?)
    – Of course, we can’t leave out how the same people who say an AR-15 is a “weapon of war that belongs on a battlefield, not on our streets,” are now considering being REAL troops with REAL weapons of war ONTO our streets.

It’s like they just don’t get it, or something….
