A common building materiel turned murder weapon:
A man died after getting hit by a 2-by-4 at a house party in Pasadena early Sunday, police said.
Two men got in a fight around 2 a.m. at the party in the 600 block of Fresa. One ended up fatally striking the other with the piece of wood, said Vance Mitchell with the Pasadena Police Department.
California doesn’t seem to have Common Sense Lumber restrictions.

It wouldn’t need it. Sentient 2-by-4s are all black belts. They spend their class time trying to break each other. They don’t need weapons; they ARE the weapons. 😉
Archer do you REALLY think a trained journalist even knows what a hammer is FOR, let along which side of it you grip in your hand?
Obviously the officer the journalist interviewed identified the murder weapon as a “Two By Four”, not a “Two Ex Four”!
Also I keep checking gunbroker for one of those “oozy pistols” the trained journalists are always quacking about. They sound like neat items to add to my collection!
