“Gun Death” Junkie

The anti-gun people who constantly trumpet “Gun Death” seem to think that more laws will lower violence. Look at this story:

A 33-year-old central Ohio man has apologized for fatally beating his 78-year-old grandfather in 2012, blaming it on his heroin addiction.

So say putting an outright ban on guns (like the outright ban we have on heroin) would mean NOBODY would have guns! Yeah, well this guy got his heroin pretty easily, if he had wanted a gun, I’m sure he would have gotten one of those too. Of course he probably was too interested in spending any money he could find or steal on his junk habit, people more interested in murder than an opiate high could use the same illegal trade to get guns.

And of course we have the horrible fact that he didn’t have a gun, but he IS a murderer. “Gun Death” has NOTHING to do with murder rates, or violent crime. That has to do with people.

Why are they so focused on “Gun Death”? They aren’t concerned with public safety, just banning guns!
