“Gun Death” Truck Thief

Seems that registration and licensing don’t do much if your truck is stolen!

A stolen truck sideswiped a taxi and hit a scooter before colliding with a New York City bus in the West Village early Wednesday morning, sending both vehicles careering onto the sidewalk where they smashed into a building on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 14th Street.

The driver of the bus was ejected from the cab and pronounced dead at the scene, the police said. Five others, including the driver of the stolen truck, were injured, according to officials.

Pretty serious, but not a “Gun Death”.

    Not a “Gun Death.”

Good thing, too, because the legal owner might end up being criminally and civilly liable for not reporting it stolen, and face harsher punishment than the person who stole it in the first place.

And they say guns are less regulated than cars. Psshaw!
