Images of the Antis….huh?

Yeah, sometimes it’s just stupid!

Umm, everybody dies, and guns aren’t alive, so they can’t die.

Still a kid on a swing set….you mean like a school? A GUN FREE ZONE?

Yeah, I wonder why all these shootings happen in gun free zones…

  1. Bob S. says:

The antis are a bit, shall we be polite and say, inconsistent in their messages.

They tell us over and over again, it isn’t about the guns but the people. Then they put out a message like this that has nothing to do with keeping guns out of the ‘wrong hands’.

Frankly, I’m glad firearms don’t ‘die’. I can leave my children and grandchildren a lasting legacy; my firearms.
Not only a personal connection to me that will greatly outlast me; but also a history lesson. My AR was bought during the “Great Ammo/Gun shortage of ’13”. My father’s Beretta 12 gauge over/under was used by him hunting in Mississippi. And on.
My friend has a 1903 Pocket Hammerless that was carried in a thigh holster by his Great Aunt during her years as a school teacher.

As for as the image — wonder if the Antis will address the fact that more kids die from drowning each year then by accidental or deliberate shootings. — Definitely few are sniped on the play ground.

  2. It is not hard to understand if you look at their assumptions. One of their most basic assumptions is that guns have no legitimate purpose. This is what makes the Guns Save Lives slogan so effective. It undermines their basic assumption about reality.

From many of their perspectives, they give up *nothing* by requiring you to jump through numerous hoop and risk legal disaster by merely exercising your constitutional rights.

Attack their assumptions. Another good assumption to go after is that Governments are always benevolent, so we can trust all power in their hands.
