In Somewhat Bad Taste

You can infer who I am referencing, but I thought I’d repeat an axiom of mine a few days late:

If you fancy yourself a poet, at least learn to play the guitar so we can have SOME use for you.

  1. Since America only had one poet until recently, you must be talking about the late Ms Angelou.

    • Weerd Beard says:

Oh but Bob Dylan and Tom Waits among many others still live, and unlike Ms. Angelou, they can play the guitar.

      • Tommy says:

Guitar? Hell, Waits can play a traffic cone!
        😀

        • Weerd Beard says:

Never seen that personally but don’t doubt it. Seen him use a bullhorn live to great effect!

Also the “drum” track for Big in Japan is allegedly Tom beating the shit out of a hotel dresser.

Also he’s a mediocre guitar player, his primary axe is certainly the piano, but I think you get my drift! 🙂
