So tomorrow is my equivalent of a decisive sports game. It’s ELECTION DAY!
Even some of the races that I have nothing to gain from are an interest to me. So out I will go fresh and early with Mrs. Weer’d, and little LaWeer’da to cast my ballot.
Will be fun to see what the end results are!
Anything good from your state?
In Colorado according to what I’ve heard the R’s have a 10% edge over the D’s in most of the races.
Nothing much new in Oregon. The R’s are ahead in districts that lean R, the D’s are ahead in districts that lean D, and Multnomah County (solid blue, and heavily populated) in all probability will carry the state – we’ll likely keep our current [party-line-voting, otherwise-do-little] Dem Senator (the GOP nominee was no prize) and current [scandal-plagued, money-wasting, bad-attitude, doesn’t-play-well-with-others] Dem Governor.
I’m kinda bummed about the Gubernatorial race; Mrs. Archer and I really like the Republican nominee.
But hey! Through ballot measure 91, we might get “legal” marijuana, so I guess we can enhance our calm as we watch the R campaigns go up in smoke?
