New York police fatally shot a man armed with a knife on Tuesday after he stabbed a rabbinical student from Israel in a Brooklyn synagogue, and authorities quickly stepped up security at Jewish houses of worship around the city, police said.
The suspect, **SUSPECT**, 49, who has a history of mental illness, stabbed and wounded 22-year-old **VICTIM**, who was studying at the world headquarters of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, police said.
So this crazed anti-Semite stabbed a Jewish Student, but didn’t kill him. Police responded and attempted to arrest him…he attempted to stab the cops and they DID kill him.
So we have one person stabbed, but it wasn’t a “Gun Death”, who cares??? But we have police shooting a dangerous nut…GUN DEATH BAD!!!

Even if the anti-Semite had killed the Jewish student, it probably wouldn’t make headlines. Based on media attitudes, it’d be more of a “par for the course”, if not “good riddance”.
“Jew Killed by Anti-Semite”, sadly, is not the attention-getter it should be, if it makes it into the story at all.
(Just to be clear, I think it’s patently ridiculous that the media refuses to properly report anti-Semitic and anti-Christian violence. It’s as if the hate-based motivations of the killers aren’t important enough to speak of, or are important but too non-politically-correct to mention. When reporters and politicians don’t address these things, it sends the message that it’s A-OK to attack Jews and Christians.)
